Below is general information about the nominations we are seeking; as well as full descriptions of the positions available.Seeking Nominations for Critical Roles within St. Matthew Lutheran Church. These positions include:

1. Secretary:  As an officer of the church, the secretary is responsible for the accurate recording of all the minutes of all Board of Ministry, and Voter’s Assembly Meetings for the church. This role finalizes minutes and signs off on the official copy.

2. Celebration Ministry Team Leader: Responsible for overseeing areas such as worship, choirs, altar guild, ushers, and audio/visual services. Additionally, responsible for the planning of external events.

3.  Community Ministry Team Leader: Responsible for areas including education, youth and family.

4.  Care Ministry Team Leader and (2) Care Ministry Team Members: Responsible for areas such as lay ministry and fellowship.

5.  Board of Elders (2) Additional Elders: Objective is to oversee the spiritual life of the congregation and its individual members, and service as a special assistant to the Pastor(s).
