EARLY COMMUNION CLASS

Focus: Youth,Rising 4th Graders (2026-2027 Academic Year)

When parents decide that their child is mature enough in their faith to understand and appreciate the repentance of sin and to trust Jesus alone as their Savior, they are welcome to participate in a multi-week class in preparation for receiving Holy Communion. These classes are taught annually on Sundays in April/May and October. A parent must attend with their child.

St. Matthew Lutheran Church’s Confirmation program is designed for students in 6-8th grade. Led by Pastor Garet and adult mentors, students meet on Tuesday evenings during the school year.

The program includes service opportunities, activities, and fellowship alongside the three-year instructional teachings. Contact Pastor Garet for more information.
